Day in the Life:
xc2xb7 Manage and maintain the Workflow Request Queue in SuccessFactors Employee Central for all Canadian Employees including managing data Changes
xc2xb7 Ensure compliance with Federal & Provincial payroll legislation and company policy
xc2xb7 Maintain employee records as per government regulations
xc2xb7 Process CRA Remittances
xc2xb7 Process Garnishment's
xc2xb7 Process EHT Remittances
xc2xb7 Process Union Payments
xc2xb7 Respond to union inquiries and assist with union review
xc2xb7 Jira Ticket creation, review and validation
xc2xb7 Liaison with branches on payroll related items
xc2xb7 Assist with other duties as assigned
What We Are Seeking:
xc2xb7 Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll processing role
- Knowledge of relevant government regulations
- PCP or CPM designation preferred - or relevant work experience
- Must have strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, especially excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and detail orientated
- Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Experience with salaried, hourly union and non-union payroll is required
