The Position:

We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to join BrokerLink and work out of our Woodbridge, ON or Glenmore, AB office on a Permanent FT Basis.

The Payroll Analyst performs the typical daily duties within the standard payroll cycle and supports employees and managers across the organization.

What the Role Entails:

• Input, approve and verify payroll entries within the payroll schedule and run the payroll cycle within the deadlines and in compliance with legislation, laws, and internal policies.
• Manage inquires from HRCs and employees on interpretation of company policies and government legislation affecting HR/payroll function and internal policies.
• Analyse, resolve and coordinate resolution of employee inquires and act as the liaison between other internal support groups and third-party service providers.
• Entry and reconciliation of all payroll and benefits data including benefits premium payments.
• Monthly and yearly reporting.

The Successful candidate will have:

• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Finance, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with UKG Pro or Workday and the Microsoft Suite and benefit Websites
• Excellent self-management skills.
• Customer service excellence.
• High degree of accuracy.
• Enjoy the challenge of working in a changing, demanding environment.
• Have a \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.
• Detail-oriented and Pro-active team player.
• Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with employee population and HRCs.
• High degree of patience, compassion, and customer service in dealing with clients; Able to identify key concerns or issues requiring escalation to colleague, Team Leader, or Manager.
