Job Description

Robert Half is in search of an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a Non for Profit organization located in Ottawa. This is a full-time/permanent position on site.

Responsibilities:

-Compile and enter payroll data; post wage and reconcile errors to maintain payroll records

-Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll

-Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions

-Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage for each employee to update master payroll records

-Processing bi-weekly payroll for over 300 employees union and non-union

-Assist with the employee benefits and pension

-Enter new employee information into the software

-Post-secondary education in Payroll or related field, PCP designation would be considered an asset

-3+ years experience in payroll

-Experience in various payroll software such as ADP Workforce

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory

-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

-Great attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
