Description:
Job tasks will include employee file setup & maintenance, processing bi-weekly hourly payroll, benefits administration, payroll reconciliations and various administrative tasks related to payroll accounting. This position reports directly to and under the direction and supervision of the Finance Manager. The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related services.
Minimum Qualifications:
? Equivalent of High School education from a recognized institution (or currently enrolled in High School)
? Proficient command/comprehension of the English language
? Police Information Check that does not disqualify you from employment
? Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of basic office applications
? Canadian Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification
? Thorough knowledge of Alberta Employment Standard
Additional Qualifications:
? Microsoft Word Level I and Excel Level I
? Advanced skills in Excel including Pivot Tables & knowledge with various functions
? Experience with Microsoft NAV is considered as asset
Years of Experience:
Greater than two years experience in computerized payroll processing multiple payrolls
