About the Role





The Pay, Policy, and Benefits (PPB) Advisor plays a key role supporting payroll, and other PPB priorities to contribute to the HR strategy and deliverables for LNG Canada. In this role, you'll support critical initiatives that ensures we have the components of a competitive and affordable Employee Value Proposition.

You will use your expertise to:





Payroll Administration:


Jointly support Payroll processing, administration and reporting including: Assisting in payroll transactions including new hires, benefits, salary changes Run, validate and audit payroll reports for various stakeholder use (Finance, third party service providers, Benefits & Pension interface payroll files) Processing bi-weekly pension contributions Year-end activities

Policy & Benefits Administration:


Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on HR policy interpretation and processes Support the continuous improvement efforts of reviewing policies Support consistent policy application across businesses, functions, and employee groups Facilitate pension and benefits onboarding session for new hires Support disability management process by providing Short Term Disability (STD) information to employees and general administration of STD paperwork Support Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) administration activities including reporting General administration duties including: Supporting employment verification letters request SharePoint focal - ensuring files are saved appropriately in the PPB team folder Updates to the LNGC Employee Handbook New hire HR system audits & welcome emails Process reports ((Including WorkSafe BC, WCB - AB & BC EHT & Sunlife Group insurance Premium files) Tracking of work permits Flexibility to support other Pay, Policy, and Benefit areas as needed



To be successful, you will have:




Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in pay, policy & benefits with previous experience in payroll administration a must National Payroll Institute membership is considered an asset Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) certifications are considered an asset Working knowledge of MS Office; mastery of Excel (i.e. pivot data, data validation) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstration of high standards of quality work (accuracy, timeliness, compliance) Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Outstanding teamwork skills, working in regular, close partnership with HR and business colleagues

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
