PhysioMira is a vibrant and respected multidisciplinary clinic in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, specializing in physiotherapy, chiropractic care, and massage therapy.
Are you a motivated professional with healthcare experience? We're seeking a highly organized, quick learner to join our team, working approximately 15-25 hours per week at our Waterloo clinic. This is an in-person position.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and check in patients, creating a positive experience
Respond promptly to phone calls and emails
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Process direct billing to insurance companies through our EMR system and Telus portal
Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
Verify insurance coverage and manage necessary paperwork and outstanding payments
Maintain patient records in our electronic medical records (EMR) system with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality
Oversee inventory management
Assist in general clinic organization and management
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written English skills
Experience in a medical office or administrative role is preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology
Proficient in electronic medical records systems (e.g., Jane App) and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
