We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Patient Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role involves managing patient appointments, coordinating communication between patients and healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental office software such as clinic master or medical office systems.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Prior work in retail e.g Zara, The Bay, Aldo, TD, Disney etc
Inbound or outbound phone experience
Prior work in a healthcare setting e.g. medical office
Medical Secretary Diploma
Familiarity with physiotherapy, massage, chiro, acupuncture
Familiarity with Blue cross, Medavie, Telus Portal, Provider connect,MVA, WSIB
Proficient in use of computers and other office equipment
Learning new software and data entry
Knowledge of general office procedures
