For more information, please see our website below: www.hvhealth.ca THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for Patient Care Coordinator to join our HV medical team in Richmond, BC. Experience in healthcare clinic or medical office is required. Reporting to the Director of the Clinic, this role is multi-faceted and performs duties and responsibilities related to scheduling/booking all appointments, invoicing/billing (patient, 3rd party vendors), customer service, marketing and other supportive administrative duties as assigned. This is a full-time position with potential for growth in our practice. What you will be doing daily: \xc2\xb7 Greet and check patients in and out \xc2\xb7 Booking/Modifying Appointments \xc2\xb7 Schedule Management, scheduling all staff: administrators, physicians so adequate coverage is always available including vacation coverage \xc2\xb7 Assist with Operations management: Compliance: Covid 19, Occupational Health and Safety \xc2\xb7 Answer incoming calls to include, new patient calls, scheduling patient appointments, requesting records and follow up \xc2\xb7 Invoicing/Billing with MSP, WCB, and ICBC \xc2\xb7 Communicating with insurance companies, keeping track of coverage limits \xc2\xb7 Accurate Data Entry and Maintaining Files & maintaining patient records \xc2\xb7 Processing Payments and Cashing out and Collection of outstanding accounts (A.R.). \xc2\xb7 Statistical reports on billing software \xc2\xb7 Prepare treatment rooms for physicians and keeping the Clinic well maintained (general tidying, laundry, assisting therapist with cleaning electrodes and putting away supplies) Who you are: \xc2\xb7 Medical Office Assistant Certificate or 1-2 years of post-secondary training or related field \xc2\xb7 Minimum 1 to 2 years of general administrative experience in a medical office or clinic \xc2\xb7 Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) \xc2\xb7 Ability to type 40 wpm \xc2\xb7 Experience managing schedules and day to day clinic tasks efficiently. \xc2\xb7 Strong Customer Service Skill and Organizational Skills \xc2\xb7 Detail Oriented with strong problem-solving skills \xc2\xb7 Experience with scheduling and billing software \xc2\xb7 Previous sales experience or can learn how to increase bookings for the clinic is an asset \xc2\xb7 Experience with Med Access EMR is preferred What are your skills: \xc2\xb7 Effective verbal and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to multi-task, a self-starter and be able to prioritize required duties \xc2\xb7 Excellent integrity, ability to maintain confidentiality, good working ethics \xc2\xb7 Exceptional attention to detail, organization skills and problem-solving skills, especially when under pressure \xc2\xb7 Quick learner, flexible and willing to perform a variety of support tasks \xc2\xb7 Excellent time management skills \xc2\xb7 Able to work with minimal supervision while also work effectively and productively as a team player. \xc2\xb7 Exceptional customer service skills, able to deal tactfully and effectively with co-workers, clients Full-Time: 40 hours / week Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to $22.00 per hour Benefits:
