We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Creme, a new French inspired Patisserie and Cafe to create delicious pastries and desserts for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a creative flair for pastry decoration. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency in every product.

••Duties:••

- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes

- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping

- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards and guidelines

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan pastry menu items

- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section of the kitchen

- Assist in training junior pastry staff members

••Qualifications:••

- Previous experience working in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or restaurant setting

- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations

- Proficiency in baking techniques and cake decorating

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
