Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards.
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring presentation meets customer expectations.
Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Package baked goods for sale or delivery, ensuring quality standards are met.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery of 3-5 years is required.
Strong skills in food preparation, baking techniques, and cake decorating are essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is required.
Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with team members and clients.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
A passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques is highly valued.
