Duties

Prepare a variety of pastries, bars, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards. Decorate bars and pastries with attention to detail, ensuring visual appeal and quality. Assist in the food preparation process, including measuring ingredients and mixing batters. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during service hours. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs regarding pastry selections.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred. Strong skills in baking, cake decorating, and food handling practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable, along with a passion for creating delicious pastries.
