Alforno Bakery & Cafe is expanding its pastry team. We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team and bring artistry, precision, and innovation to our pastry program. What are the duties to perform:



Directing staff, ensuring standards and safety compliance, and contributing to training and employee development Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation Develop and execute daily and seasonal pastry offerings Manage pastry prep, production schedules, and inventory Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards Collaborate with the culinary team to support service and events


What will you bring to the team:



Positive Attitude! and unique attributes and skills Excellent verbal and written communication A minimum of 4 years of pastry experience in a similar environment A diploma or degree in Pastry & Baking Culinary Arts or an equivalent field is an asset. Self-starter, flexible, multitasking Extensive food handling and sanitation knowledge Self-motivated, positive, professional Recognizes and follows foodservice trends.
