Position Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable
Part-Time Seasonal Office Administrator
to keep our office running smoothly during our busy season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and can support both daily office operations and our growing digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls
Assist with scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating field staff
Organize and maintain digital and paper files
Create and update job folders, service tickets, and basic documentation
Support data entry, expense tracking, and invoicing
Order supplies and maintain office inventory
Provide general administrative support to management
Assist with basic social media tasks
(posting updates, organizing photos, helping prepare content) -- experience is an asset*
Qualifications
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel), email, and basic computer programs
Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities
Previous office or administrative experience is an asset
Experience with
social media content creation or posting
is an asset
Knowledge of the environmental, oilfield, or construction industry is a bonus
Hours & Schedule
Approximately
15-25 hours per week
Flexible schedule to work around school, childcare, or other commitments
Seasonal position with potential for extension based on performance and workload
