Part Time Math And Science Teacher

Job Description
Elton Academy is an international private high school and is seeking an experienced PT Math and Science teacher for August classes (August 4th - 28th) . The ideal candidate would be a teacher who is knowledgeable with Growing Success and the Ontario curriculum in Math and for Science (Chemistry and Physics). Interviews will be conducted in the week of July 14th.
Salary range: $30 - $35 (non-OCT), $35 - $40 (OCT)
Duties include:
- Teaching classes
- Assigning and marking assessments
- Updating the school database with midterm and final marks
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- Master's Degree (OCT preferred)
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Outgoing personality
- Patience
- Team player who can also work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Flexible language requirement:
French not required
Experience:
teaching: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
OCT certification (preferred)
