We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation and food handling to ensure quality and freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or a similar role within the kitchen environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and various cooking methods.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
