OLEA Restaurant is seeking a part-time line cook.
This is a weekend PM position, requiring Saturday and Sunday availability.
Job Responsibilities:
Be able to cook all stations proficiently
Writing prep lists and managing mise en place
Responsible for closing duties
Maintaining a clean work environment
Summary
Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and cook high-quality dishes while ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met. With core skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation, you will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Your experience in the food industry and restaurant environment will enable you to thrive in this fast-paced role, where attention to detail and teamwork are essential for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food service standards Previous experience in a kitchen role, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration Excellent attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
