Location: Murasaki Japanese Restaurant, Port Moody in the Newport Village

Employment Type: Part-Time

Murasaki Japanese Restaurant is seeking a Cook Assistant for Sunday Shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be in charge and prepare the Tempura and Appetizer part following our restaurant's recipes and standards

-Assist the main Cooks & Sushi Chefs in coordinating with the orders.

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment (i.e. cleaning your station, helping clean the kitchen, dishwashing, etc.)

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

:

- Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience required

- Experience with Japanese cuisine is a strong plus

- Cooperative and proactive attitude with a passion for food

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions

- Excellent communication skills and a great attitude to collaborate with your team
