Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals. Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff and front of house staff to ensure smooth operation during meal service. Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Skills

Experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Proficient in food preparation techniques and meal assembly processes. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the restaurant's schedule.

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 35 per week
