ActiveCo Technology Management, a New Charter Technologies Company, is seeking a

Junior IT Support Technician

to deliver responsive, customer-focused technical support in a

Managed Service Provider (MSP)

environment. The technician will assist with

Windows and macOS troubleshooting

,

Microsoft 365 administration

,

hardware setup

, and

network issue resolution

. This part-time, 6-month contract role (with potential for extension or full-time hire) requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others solve technology challenges. Candidates with experience in

helpdesk operations

,

AV support

, and

system configuration

will excel in this dynamic, client-facing position.


The successful candidate will work

onsite at a client's office in Burnaby

and occasionally from our

Port Coquitlam head office

, depending on operational needs.


Key Responsibilities



Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, and in person. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals. Collaborate with senior technicians to escalate and resolve complex issues. Document troubleshooting procedures and maintain knowledge base articles. Manage and track IT inventory and equipment assignments. Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades and rollouts. Educate end users on basic troubleshooting and IT best practices. Stay current on technology trends and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications



Experience with desktop operating systems including

Windows 10/11 Pro

,

macOS

, and

iOS

. Hands-on experience with

Microsoft 365

, including Teams and SharePoint. Working knowledge of

audio/visual equipment

setup and troubleshooting. Familiarity with

Windows Print Services

administration. Understanding of helpdesk ticketing systems and workflow management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

required.

Compensation:



Hourly Rate:

$18.00
