Job Description

The Part-Time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering their sections of the class including lectures, assignment preparation, and evaluation. They are expected to work with the course coordinator to contribute to test preparation. The part-time academic should be available for two hours per week (either on-line or in-person) for consultation with students. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the Department
Qualifications/Requirements of Position

Applicants must have a Canadian professional accounting designation, and must have a Bachelor of Commerce Degree or similar. Significant professional/management experience is required. The successful applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of managerial accounting and teaching experience. Preference will be given to a candidate with experience teaching with, and/or creating pedagogical materials, which incorporate principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA).
Salary Range/Pay Rate In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
