Position Overview: Join the Finning family! Finning Canada is seeking a Parts Journeyperson supporting our client site at Teck Coal Fording River on a 7 x 7 Continuous Shift. This position is responsible for On-Site Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance, and repairs.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated individual and a team player with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

:

• On-Site Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure accurate required by dates are entered into the software system.
• Prepare for, and attend daily customer SIC meetings, communicating estimated delivery dates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend morning safety meetings and complete daily EJHA.
• Communicate shipping options and freight estimates to the customer and Service Operations team.
• Follow up on requests from the PSSR and Service Operations team, remaining accountable until the transaction is complete.
• General housekeeping \xe2\x80\x93 A place for everything and everything in its place.
• Attend all TEAMS meetings, micro learnings, and trainings requested by the Regional Parts Manager.
• Delivery of parts to various locations on-site, as determined by the service supervisors.
• Parts identification and tracking to support the business.
• Process, prepare and stage kitted parts for the customers operations.
• Development and maintenance of parts templates specific to the customers equipment population.
• Sourcing and ordering used parts.
• Vendor Managed Inventory.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Processing parts credits and coordination of Component Core returns.
• Process customer orders as required.
• Participate in parts related special projects and assignments.

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, Shop Parts and Caterpillar product knowledge.
• A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships.
• Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment.
• This self-motivated individual will be a team player with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
• Experience with SIS, Lawson M3, and the MS Office Package will be considered assets.
• A valid drivers license with clean abstract.
