The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and customer service, with experience in the automotive industry being a significant advantage. As a Counter Person, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing them with exceptional service while assisting with their needs.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling. Maintain an organized and clean counter area to enhance customer experience. Handle order fulfillment and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Utilize effective communication skills to negotiate and promote sales, enhancing overall customer satisfaction. Provide support in marketing initiatives to drive sales growth within the dealership. Assist in maintaining inventory levels and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

Skills

Previous dealership experience is highly desirable. Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures. Strong background in retail sales with proven customer service skills. Knowledge of automotive repair processes can be advantageous. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing and order fulfillment. Effective phone etiquette for professional communication with customers. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships.
