At SMS Equipment, our Parts Coordinator is responsible for providing support and centralized parts counter ordering for customers in a friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable manner. This position is in Acheson, AB.

The shift rotation for this position is 7x7 \xe2\x80\x93 12 hours.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide customers with accurate parts quoting and pricing information.
• Place customer approved orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Review and track all customer purchase order\xe2\x80\x99s for parts orders ensuring all data and pricing is matched and accurate.
• Track all backorders associated with area of responsibility.
• Manage all incoming warranty claims with warranty group once received from customer and SMS site.
• Source alternative parts when OEM is not available.
• Process core returns when cores and information return from customer and/or an SMS site.
• Organize and facilitate all incoming and outgoing shipments with the warehouses providing clear shipping instructions and information required to process.
• Assist as necessary in the training of apprentice personnel.

• Other parts counter and warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a certified Parts Technician along with a minimum of 3 years relatable experience. Additional requirements include:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to details and ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Sound working knowledge of computerized inventory systems such as ERP, SAP and WMS.
• Stock receiving experience would be beneficial.
• Forklift and Fall Protection would be an asset.

• Ability to lift 25 \xe2\x80\x93 50 pounds a must.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
