What will you be doing as a Parts Coordinator?
  • Ensure availability of all products and accessories
  • Develop and qualify additional marine accessories to complement Legend products
  • Process parts orders using our internal software systems
  • Manage inventory of parts and accessories
  • Reconcile accounts receivable
  • Package, bill, and handout parts to boat riggers, technicians, and retail counter staff
  • Track and WIP parts in our ERP system
  • Source parts cost-effectively from new suppliers
  • Monitor stock levels for just-in-time inventory
  • Minimize carrying costs and obsolete parts inventory
  • Maintain an organized and clean parts area
  • Meet weekly with the Director of Customer Service to discuss parts issues and provide updates
  • Order, receive, and stock parts orders
  • Handle all Parts Order Request cases
  • Collaborate with the parts team to accomplish tasks
  • Ensure product aisle, row, and bin locations are entered in our ERP system
  • Ensure product information is complete and accurate

In addition to your primary role, you may assist as a Customer Care Specialist, performing duties such as:
  • Greeting clients and generating repair order estimates
  • Assisting with boat drop-off and pick-up
  • Invoicing repair orders and warranty claims
  • Scheduling service appointments
  • Coordinating service technicians\' assignments
  • Conducting new boat pickup orientations and on-water orientations
  • Handling customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction

What are we looking for in a Parts Coordinator?
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Willingness to give extra to get the job done
  • Flexible, focused, and task-oriented
  • Punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Aptitude for sales
  • Familiarity with boats, motors, parts, trailers, and the marine industry
  • Great communicator who enjoys engaging with boaters
