Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts/Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for the heavy truck/equipment industry. As a Parts/Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers by assisting them in finding the right parts for their vehicles, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Duties

Assist customers in selecting and purchasing heavy truck/equipment parts and accessories. Provide expert advice on parts compatibility and availability. Maintain an organized inventory of parts and ensure accurate stock levels. Process customer orders, including cash handling and transaction management. Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with mechanics and service advisors to fulfill repair orders promptly. Stay updated on new products, promotions, and industry trends to better serve customers. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts orders or returns.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 year of proven experience in automotive repair or dealership environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical specifications. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Experience in sales or cash handling is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and data entry. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for the heavy truck/equipment industry and commitment to continuous learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
