We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. We are seeking an individual available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Start time can be flexible.
Duties
Prepare and assemble ingredients for various dishes according to the menu specifications.
Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Utilize knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients efficiently.
Experience
Familiarity with food preparation techniques, and cooking methods is essential.
Experience in food service or the restaurant industry is highly valued.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety protocols is required.
Culinary experience with an emphasis on meal preparation and catering is advantageous.
