to join our team! Our kitchen service is open from 7am-130pm daily, producing close to 300 meals per day. As our clientele is expanding and our community needs continue to grow, we are looking for staff who are up for the challenge!We are currently looking to hire a
Full time Weekend Prep Cook
. Starting wage is$16.50/hr with an extra $1 bonus on weekend shifts
. Flexible scheduling available.Role of a Prep Cook:
Assist with preparing main entrees, sides, and soup for the daily meal production Follow the direction of the Lead Cook and support the food service team during meal service Adhere to food safety practices and code of conduct Help serve and package meals alongside kitchen staff Be a team player in all parts of the kitchen & help with cleaning protocols after meal service Maintain a clean and tidy workplace, adhering to changes around current Coronavirus outbreak and Department of Health food safety standards
Qualities we are looking for in a new team member:
Dependable/Reliable Team player Independent & can take initiative Willingness to work weekends Able to multitask
Food Safety Training Certificate
preferred. Arrangement for training can be provided.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
