We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Grade 12 Math & Physics Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. This role involves providing personalized instruction in various subjects, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students build confidence in their abilities. The Tutor will play a vital role in inspiring a love of learning and supporting student success.
Responsibilities
Deliver small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
Follow a customized lesson plans and educational materials to enhance understanding
Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment
Communicate effectively with students, and staff regarding student progress and areas for improvement
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
Support students in developing study skills, organizational strategies, and academic confidence
Assess and evaluate the training materials and provide students feedback to the curriculum developer for future improvement.
Skills
Proven experience in Tutoring or Teaching across various subjects
Strong Communication Skills to effectively convey concepts to students of different ages and learning styles
Experience with Young Adult is preferred, demonstrating patience and adaptability
Classroom Experience is a plus, providing insight into educational best practices
Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential
Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons and track progress effectively
