Part Time / Relief Pharmacist
Job Description
We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team and provide quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information, advising on drug interactions and side effects, and ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient safety, and a thorough understanding of pharmacy regulations.
PTS Rx paperless software (Mckesson) experience is an asset
Licensed in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and injection certified Pharmacist
Pharmacist: 2 years (Preferred)
Dispense medications and advise patients on proper use of medications.
Monitor patient health and progress to ensure positive outcomes.
Provide information to patients on drug interactions, side effects, and proper dosage.
Maintain records of patient profiles, drug inventories, and prescriptions filled.
Counsel patients on the proper use of over-the-counter medications.
Keep abreast of new drugs and their uses, contraindications, side effects, interactions, and dosage forms.
Demonstrates compassion and empathy for patients
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00-$58.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Experience:
pharmacist: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Pharmacy License (required)
Work Location: In person
