Shift: 32 Hours bi-weekly??

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday- 8am-4pm (dayshift)

Rate of Pay: $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.??

General Description?

The Part Time Recovery Program Coordinator (RPC-PT) works out of Inii Healing House (IHH). IHH is a 60-day on-reserve treatment center that provides a structured, intensive healing experience for individuals struggling with substance abuse, mental health issues, and/or trauma. IHH allows up to 10 residents to receive support within the community, often integrating culturally relevant and land- based healing practices. The RPF-PT is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing therapeutic, educational, recreational, and wellness-related programming for residents in a treatment center setting during the weekends. This position works closely with the clinical and support staff to ensure that all programming aligns with the treatment model and supports residents' recovery and healing journey.??

Role responsibilities and duties??

Develop and maintain a structured weekend program schedule that includes therapeutic groups, educational workshops, life skills training, recreational activities, and wellness practices. Coordinate with clinicians, therapists, cultural representatives and external service providers to ensure quality and consistency in programming. Monitor attendance, participation, and resident engagement in daily activities. Ensure programming is inclusive, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented. Schedule guest speakers, peer mentors, community educators, and wellness practitioners to enhance program offerings. Coordinate with local agencies, cultural groups, or healthcare providers to offer specialized sessions (e.g. cultural healing, relapse prevention, financial literacy). Maintain programming calendars, rosters, reports, and evaluation tools. Track program outcomes and prepare reports for internal use, funders, or regulators. Assist in developing policies and procedures related to program delivery. Assess the needs and progress of individuals within the group Facilitate open and supportive discussions about addiction and recovery Create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for group members Identify potential triggers and develop strategies to manage them Support with case management Provide transportation as needed Assist participants with organizing personal affairs as requested Attend/facilitated case consultation as needed Participate in daily debriefing at shift change Assist participants in Traditional healing as requested Continue professional development through ongoing education and training in addiction therapy Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Intra-group conflict management Organized, solution-focused, takes initiative Ability to actively listen and ask motivational questions High level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to translate complex documents into understandable terms Knowledge of Piikani/Blackfoot Culture and Language is an asset Manage participant relationships and large caseload Sound Knowledge and ability to demonstrate a practical application of the following techniques are considered an asset: crisis intervention, de-escalation skills, people management skills, conflict intervention and resolution.
Qualifications?

Successful completion of a degree or diploma in a human services discipline Minimum two years of work experience in addiction and/or mental wellness Proven work experience as a Group Facilitator, Therapist, Counselor, or similar role in a mental health setting Knowledge of addiction and recovery principles as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. First Aid, CPR, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVDI), Trauma-Informed Care, Security, and WHMIS training are assets Experience working with vulnerable populations Proficient in MS Office 365
