Network Child Care Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality child care services and programs to children and families. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education and operate across Toronto ensuring that we meet the diverse needs of our community.

Summary

We are seeking a Part-time permanent ECA, who are dedicated, responsible, and a team player working in one of our Centres - St. Agatha Before and After School Program. The regular work hours will be 5 hours on a split shift on School days and 8hrs on Non - Instructional School Days. We welcome the new graduates to apply.

Responsibilities

- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Highly organized with the ability to plan and implement lessons effectively
- Knowledge of special education practices and techniques for supporting children with diverse needs
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning through play

Qualifications

- Experience working with children and families.

- Able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (criminal reference check)

- Able to provide health assessment and immunization

- Current certificate in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED level C

- Knowledge of the Ministry of Education's pedagogy "How Does Learning Happen?" and E.L.E.C.T.
