Perfect for a student. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Grooming Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care and grooming services for pets while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, as the position involves working with animals of various sizes.

Responsibilities

Assist groomers in bathing, drying, and grooming pets to ensure they look their best. Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and addressing any concerns regarding their pets. Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area by regularly cleaning tools, equipment, and workspaces. Help with the handling of pets during grooming sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Lift and carry pets as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to maintain safety for both the pet and yourself.

Experience

Experience working with animals is a plus but not mandatory; a passion for animal care is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively as part of daily responsibilities. Strong communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with clients and team members. Pay: $15.70-$16.50 per hour
