Duties
Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for customer satisfaction.
Package baked goods for display and sale, maintaining freshness and presentation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting in ordering as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and offerings.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
Proficiency in food preparation techniques, especially in baking and pastry arts.
Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
