Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Part Time Addiction Worker

to join our team. This position is perfect for a student looking for

part time evening

work.

Hours are 3:30pm - 8:00Pm Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

This role plays an essential part in providing support and guidance to individuals living with addiction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in addiction's or case management, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to individuals recovering from addiction through group counselling and case management. Provide support to Addiction Counsellor's and lead facilitators. Work as a team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs. Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes. Facilitate group sessions and workshops, utilizing strong presentation skills to engage participants. Collaborate with other professionals in the field to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Conduct assessments and analyze client needs, employing effective time management and organizational skills.

Experience

Proven experience in group facilitation and case management is preferred. Lived Experience considered an asset. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on team communication and client documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for administrative tasks.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
