RAPS is seeking a Part Time Support Worker to Assist an Individual with Autism (A44)
Location
: South Edmonton (Blue Quill area)
Days/Hours
: Until end of November, 4 - 6 hours per week, flexible with days must be daytime hours before 4pm, starting December 1st, 34 hours per month approximately 8.5 hours per week
: Duties include but are not limited to assisting with ADL's, coaching life and social skills, light meal preparation, support on outings including physical activities (swimming, theme parks, etc.), supervision and companionship.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
: The successful candidate will have a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector, at least 1-year experience in support work and working with clients with Autism, a class 5 driver's license and vehicle for client transportation and be a non-smoker. First aid/CPR training is an asset and must be comfortable working around cats.
Rate of Pay
: $25.25/Hour
