K2 Park services is hiring for the 2024 camping season with multiple positions available.One of four Tier 1 provincial parks on Vancouver Island, Gordon Bay is a popular local gem where everyone is welcome to camp, swim, hike trails, launch boats and enjoy our beautiful view of Cowichan Lake and the surrounding forest. Contracted through K2 Cowichan Parks Services for BC Parks, Gordon Bay Provincial Park is a family-friendly campground with an abundance of amenities situated in picturesque Honeymoon Bay. A spacious, welcoming campground where countless great memories are created and shared amongst visitors, campers and staff alike.Positions Available:Gatehouse Attendant- checking in campers, selling vend items, answering phone calls, answering questions, centre hub of the parkDay Shift (Maintenance)- cleaning of pit toilets and shower buildings, collection/disposal of garbage and recycling, sorting recycling, flipping sites for incoming guests, delivery of firewood, general maintenance of park grounds, enforcement of rulesNight Shift (Maintenance/Security)- delivery of firewood, cleaning of pit toilets and shower buildings, collection/disposal of garbage and recycling, sorting recycling, upholding compliance, walking and driving the park grounds as securityPark preparation starts March to May and picks up again mid September to late October. Park preparation includes grounds clean up and facility start up/shut down.Reservation season starts mid May concluding in early September. This time frame incorporates the positions listed above.*No Staff AccommodationsQualifications:

• Valid Class 7 N drivers license or above - Must provide drivers abstract
• Highschool or higher education - Current students welcome too
• Basic computer skills
• Must provide clean criminal record check
• Customer service and cash handling experience
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Organized and punctual
• Problem solving skills
• Comfortable working alone and in a group setting
• Communication skills
