Overview:

Miracle Beach Provincial Park and campground.

We are seeking an outdoor-enthusiast and gatehouse attendant to join our team and help cover some day time and evening shifts. Part time hours available starting last half of July.

You will play a vital role in the gatehouse as the first impression and consistent go-to person for park visitors and the team.

Duties:

- Provide excellent guest service and information to park visitors

- Ensure guests are registered into their corresponding sites

- Collect permit fees and issue provincial camping permits (training provided)

- Use computer software program to generate reports (training provided)

- Use POS system to sell firewood, ice, snacks, etc.

- Answer phone, use Google Docs, operate printer and other office/admin tasks
- Monitor and report revenue via cash-out.

- Keep the inside and outside of the gatehouse clean

- Raking, sweeping, washing outside

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all visitors

Requirements:

- Must pass and provide an RCMP records check for 'working with vulnerable persons sector'
- Proficiency in cash handling is advantageous
- Excellent communication and public interaction skills

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
