Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sorter to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the order fulfillment process by efficiently sorting and organizing products for distribution. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Sort and organize products based on size, type, and destination to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Load and unload items from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Operate warehouse equipment such as cranes and order pickers safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sorting area to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Utilize AS400 or similar systems for tracking inventory and managing orders as needed. Assist in fabricating or building product displays when necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift. Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and warehouse distribution practices is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to support colleagues when needed. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management are beneficial. Must be able to follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: $17.20-$17.30 per hour
