Nor Pel, Inc. is a contractor for Canada Post and is responsible for delivering parcels within the Yellowknife, NWT area.We are looking for a Parcel Delivery DriverMust be able to start between 1100 am to 12 noon Monday to Friday***note***steady work available however depends on volumes of parcels. Some days are longer. Some days are shorter.Duties include:- organizing parcels in to vehicle for your route- Using an electronic scanner/PDT. Training provided- Parcel delivery (local only)-Knowledge of the city is very helpful- must be able to comfortably get in and out of vehicle many times per day as well as able to walk stairs as neededA good drivers abstract is an assetSecurity clearance/background check will be required by Canada PostMust be located in Yellowknife, NWTWe provide the work vehicle and fuelSalary range listed because pay increases as number of deliveries increases. paid per piece deliveredpaid by each parcel delivered so as you gain experience and become more efficient your pay will increase as you will deliver more during each shift.This job is great for you if you are:organizedlike to driveenjoy a little time with co-workers (amazing team)andenjoy quiet time out by yourself while you deliver(Training provided paid at $20/hour)Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $24.00-$30.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 - 40 per weekSchedule:
