You will be closely involved in the development of this department and will participate in the implementation of new processes.

YOUR ROLE:
As a Paralegal, you will collaborate with a legal team in commercial transactions. You will interact with colleagues, clients and third parties across Canada.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing searches in various registers, such as: Registre des entreprises (REQ), Land register, RPMRR, SOQUIJ, municipalities property taxes;
  • Publish documents in the appropriate registers and follow up;
  • Communicate with customers and various parties involved in the files;
  • Carry out required follow-ups and meet deadlines;
  • Prepare and draft legal documents: declarations, resolutions, minutes, movable hypothec, assignment of rank, surety bond, voluntary cancellation.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) or Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in Paralegal technology or equivalent training;
  • Experience in a professional services firm specializing in searches in the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
  • Autonomy, thoroughness and discretion.
