Role Description
We are seeking a
full-time Paralegal
to join our team in Surrey, BC. This is an on-site role where you will play a key part in supporting our lawyers and clients. Responsibilities include:
Preparing and drafting legal documents for various practice areas.
Conducting legal research using multiple tools and databases.
Reviewing and organizing case-related documents.
Communicating professionally with clients, counsel, and court staff.
Assisting with administrative tasks related to case management.
Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all documentation and filings.
Qualifications
Education:
Certificate or Diploma in Paralegal Studies from an accredited institution in BC (or equivalent).
Bachelor's degree in a related field is an asset.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience in a legal or paralegal role within BC.
Familiarity with BC legal processes, civil litigation documentation, and family law procedures is essential.
Skills:
Proficiency in legal document preparation and case management.
Strong research skills using multiple legal research tools (e.g., CanLII, Westlaw, LexisNexis).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
