Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role requires excellent time management and communication skills, as well as a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements Execute construction painting tasks with precision and attention to detail Conduct restoration work on existing surfaces to enhance durability and aesthetics Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during projects Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout all stages of the project

Experience

Proven experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting Familiarity with construction practices and carpentry techniques is preferred Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe operation in various environments Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Vancouver, BC (V6S): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

Construction painting: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
