Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, along with a strong understanding of construction principles. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and performing various labor tasks on construction sites. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Assist in renovation and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality finishes. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Perform maintenance tasks including caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety on the job site.

Qualifications

Experience in residential and commercial painting is preferred. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment. Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating materials needed. Experience in carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, or maintenance person tasks is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
