JOB SUMMARY:

This role involves preparation, painting, staining, and finishing of surfaces on both residential and commercial projects. A strong knowledge of various painting systems and techniques is essential to perform in a variety of conditions and environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Embody Company Values Apply paints, stains, varnishes and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Prepare surfaces through sanding, filling, masking, and priming for optimal adhesion and finish. Protect surrounding areas and furnishings to ensure clean, professional results. Touch up and correct imperfections to ensure a flawless final appearance. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines and quality standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and operable condition. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment at all times. Communicate with supervisors regarding job progress, supply needs, and any issues that may arise. Stay current on industry techniques, finishes, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in both residential and commercial environments. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results. Physical stamina and ability to work on ladders, at heights, and in confined spaces. Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations. Willingness to learn and take direction in a team-focused environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 1-2 Experience with both interior and exterior painting projects. Familiarity with various finishes including latex, oil-based, and high-performance coatings. Experience with spray application systems and surface preparation for fine finishing. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
