Job Description

Allebro Contracting is searching for reliable Painters. You will be responsible for setting up equipment, preparing surfaces, painting exterior & interior walls, ceilings, trimwork & applying various stains. As a painter, we expect you to be able to paint with care and be ready to learn. Your goal will be to provide excellent customer service and to help us complete our painting projects in a timely & proffesional manner. The ideal candidate will learn or have the ability to use a variety of painting tools, equipment and proceducres.

Responsibilities:

Apply paint & products using a variety of tools and techniques. Ensure that the surface is properly prepared for painting. Apply paints of correct quantity and color according to type of surface being painted (e.g. walls, wood etc.). Prepare brushes, rollers and other equipment according to specifications. Work in a timely, efficient and safe manner to complete job on time. Maintain quality of work. Inform supervisor of any problems during the job. Follow a painters' code of conduct (e.g. wear appropriate clothing when working, wash hands before resuming work etc.). Confer with other painters or supervisors when there are questions or problems relating to the job (e.g. organizing a task among others). Perform daily maintenance of tools & equipment as well as daily end of day clean up.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
