Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong background in construction and restoration. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements Perform restoration work on existing structures as needed Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Ensure proper rigging techniques when working at heights or on scaffolding Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Skills

Proficient in construction painting techniques for both residential and commercial projects Strong understanding of restoration processes and methods Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Experience with carpentry tasks related to painting projects Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints Familiarity with industrial painting practices is a plus Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely

Pay: $16.00-$30.00 per hour
