We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. Duties

Must be able and willing to work weekends and evenings. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Perform restoration work on existing structures as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the painting process. Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe handling of materials at heights or in difficult-to-reach areas. Strong carpentry skills are a plus for performing minor repairs before painting work begins. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is essential for successful project completion. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members and clients alike. Time management skills are crucial for balancing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
