Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in both residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for delivering high-quality work, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a flawless finish that meets our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed. Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications and requirements. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the project. Perform drywall repairs and caulking as necessary to ensure a smooth finish. Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the painting process. Restore surfaces to their original condition when required, ensuring high-quality results. Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals on larger projects as needed.

Skills

Proficiency in residential painting techniques and methods. Experience with commercial painting projects is a plus. Strong understanding of drywall installation and repair techniques. Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships. Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints. Competence in using various power tools safely in a construction environment. Attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics to ensure high-quality finishes.
