Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Packaging Supervisor to oversee our packaging operations as well as supervise a small team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of packaging associates, ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and meet quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and great communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily packaging operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Train and mentor packaging staff on best practices and packaging techniques. Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines while maintaining efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of packaging equipment and tools to ensure proper functionality. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise. Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Skills

Strong background in manufacturing processes, particularly in packaging and assembly operations. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of logistics and inventory management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving production goals. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output. Work Hours:

Monday - Friday : 7:30am to 4pm
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00-$52,000.00 per year
