The Position

: We're looking for someone to be a part of our Production Team as a Plant Supervisor. You would be contributing to the team by:

Supervising daily production activities and managing a team of production workers to ensure smooth operations Monitoring production schedules and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines Ensuring quality control measures are being followed to maintain product requirements and compliance with regulations Optimizing production processes by analyzing plant capabilities, strengths, and areas of improvement Training, mentoring, and evaluating team members to enhance their skills and performance
Your team will include Machine Operators, Quality Inspectors, Shippers, and Maintenance Personnel who will all help support you to get the job done.

Pay:

Pay range is $23 - $27 / hr to start based upon previous experience, your ability to be productive independently and your contribution to the alfa team. We review pay annually and it increases with ability as well as dedication and effort (e.g. your ability to work with the plant floor and gain their respect; how independent you are, your knowledge of our parts and potential defects; your attendance and punctuality; in a small company we know WHO does WHAT! Your effort will not go unnoticed here).

Shift:

The Plant Supervisor is a day shift position.

Working Conditions:

The Plant Supervisor will spend 75% of their time in the plant environment. Exercise that includes standing, walking and the lifting are all part of the job!

What skills you should have:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Effective communication skills for clear coordination with team members and management Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated strong work ethic with a determination to complete duties well and on time Commitment and responsibility towards quality of work completed daily Ability to used Microsoft Office and generally computer literate Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

What experience you should have:

Proven experience in manufacturing or production environments, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role Knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and quality standards relevant to manufacturing Mechanical aptitude is an asset Automotive experience is an asset
